Course Description

BHF 410 Health Professions Internship I is a concurrent group supervision course designed to complement on-site internships in the health sciences. Through weekly meetings, the instructor covers topics related to evidence-based internships, fostering discussions and insights. Students engage in supervised internships at partner sites aligned with their career goals and academic training. Âé¶¹´«Ã½ facilitates 90 to 100 hours of internship experiences, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. BHF 410 Health Professions Internship I serves as a precursor to BHF 411 Health Professions Internship II, a research practicum where students delve into a topic proposed during their participation in BHF 410. (Formerly BHF 410 Health Professions-Practicum I)

Prerequisites:
Students must meet eligibility criteria established by the university for participation in internship courses.
